Wie erwartet ist das größte Update für Team Fortress 2 endlich erschienen. Dank der Zeitverschiebung zwar wieder mitten in der Nacht in Deutschland aber dennoch sind alle Steam Server total überlastet. Das Clientupdate ging noch schnell von statten, aber die Server von PHD (und allen anderen) zu updaten, wird wohl noch einige Zeit in Anspruch nehmen. Deswegen hofft nicht vor morgen früh auf die Fertigstellung.
Gleich 2 Klassen, [royalblue]der Sniper[/royalblue] und [royalblue]der Spy[/royalblue], erhalten mit dem Update 3 neue Waffen und zahlreiche Achievements. Der Sniper bekommt sogar 54 neue Sprüche beigebracht, man darf gespannt sein, was er noch so alles zu erzählen hat.
Dazu gibt es einen neuen Spielmodus namens [green]Payload Race[/green] bei dem die Teams die Lore um die Wette schieben. Der neue Modus kommt mitsamt einer Map: [yellow]Pipeline[/yellow].
Desweiteren gibt es 2 neue Arena Karten, [yellow]Sawmill[/yellow] und [yellow]Nucleus[/yellow] und eine neue Community Map, [yellow]pl_hoodoo[/yellow]
Dazu kommen die zahlreichen kleinen Veränderungen. Der Spy kann jetzt gegnerische Teleporter benutzen, freischaltbare Waffen in der Hand halten oder hat eine Pappmaske wenn er als gegnerischer Spy verkleidet ist. Das komplette Changelog findet ihr im Anhang. Es sind wirklich einige Interessante Änderungen dabei, wenn ihr was nicht versteht, fragt einfach.

[*] Added new watch replacement, the Dead Ringer. When armed, you will appear in all ways to die to the first damage you take from an enemy. You'll be cloaked for 8 second after taking this damage. Upon de-cloaking you'll make a loud, distinct sound
Added new watch replacement, the Cloak and Dagger. Your cloak meter is only depleted when you move, so you can stay invisible indefinitely if you're standing still
